About Us

What We Believe

The purpose of the Christian Israelite Church is to:

  • respond to the call of the biblical hope of the redemption of the body and the promise of immortality,

  • actively participate in the regathering of the scattered tribes of Israel, and

  • faithfully walk in the teachings of the Messiah, Jesus Christ, who harmonised the wisdom of the Old and New Testaments.

Statement of Belief

We believe:

In God Almighty, creator of all things, 3 spirits bearing record as one God

(Genesis 1:1, 1 John 5:7, John 4:24)

That Jesus Christ, the “only begotten Son” of God, is the Messiah that was foretold in the Old Testament

(Isaiah 7:14, John 3:16, 4:25-26)

In the Holy Ghost, who has been sent by God to be a Comforter and Teacher for those who believe

(John 14:26, 1 John 5:7)

In the existence of Satan, the Devil, in whom God allowed iniquity to be placed

(James 2:19; Ezekiel 28:14-15)

That God created a spiritual existence in which the Devil manifested evil and caused some of the spirits to rebel against God

(Isaiah 14:12-14; Jude 6)

That God created our physical world, to which each person comes with a body and a soul made alive by a spirit from the spiritual creation

(Luke 9:55; Genesis 2:7, Jeremiah 1:5)

That God gave His people instructions on the way they should live, which instructions were ‘for their good always’

(Deuteronomy 6:24)

That all have sinned and come ‘short of the glory of God’

(Romans 3:23; 2 Corinthians 5:19)

That God has reconciled the whole world to Himself through the sacrifice of Jesus

(John 3:16, 17)

That through belief in the sacrifice of Jesus, the Messiah, believers are counted as righteous before God, and can be assured of the resurrection of their souls as a spiritual body at Jesus’ return

(1 Timothy 4:10; 1 Corinthians 15:44, 1 Peter 1:9)

That Jesus Christ will return to this earth again, subdue the power of Satan and reign forever and ever

(Revelation 19 and 20)

That the return of Jesus Christ is near, and we are living in the period described in Scripture as the “latter days”

(Matthew 24; Mark 13 and Luke 21)

That throughout the Scriptures there are promises given for Israel, a people chosen by God, that will be fulfilled in the “latter days”

(Deuteronomy 4:30-31, Hosea 3:5, 1 Peter 2:9)

That although the original Israel were unable to be made righteous by the law and were blinded to their true Messiah Jesus Christ, in these latter days a new covenant will be made with a remnant of Israel’s descendants called to receive these promises

(Jeremiah 31:31, Hebrews 8:8, Romans 11:7; Romans 8:29-30; Revelation 7:1- 8).

That just as Jesus Christ was glorified in his physical body, a remnant of Israel will receive the same at his return, Jesus being the firstborn among many brethren. Having the law written in their hearts and minds God will justify them through faith made perfect by works and will thereby receive the redemption of spirit, soul and body. That is, this living mortal body made immortal without seeing death

(1 Thessalonians 5:23; Revelation 14:1-5; Hebrews 11:39-40, Philippians 3:14; Jeremiah 31:31-33; James 2:22-24)

That the Mission of the Christian Israelite Church is to awaken the lost tribes of Israel to this special inheritance to be the physical Immortal "Bride of the Lamb" and to be the vehicle for the task of bringing them all together at God's appointed time

(Matthew 10:5,6; Revelation 19)
