In an age where artificial intelligence (AI) and information overload challenge our understanding of truth, how can we, as Christians, navigate the impact on our faith and education?

This seminar provides a forum to examine how current technology and the post-truth era affect our education and faith walk, helping us understand God's plan in the digital era.

• Session A: Western Education – How Did We Get Here?

  • Talk 1: Historiography of Western Education

    Explore the historical evolution of teaching and learning.

  • Talk 2: Development of Education in Australia

    Who determines what children are taught today? Learn about the role of religious freedoms in education.

• Session B: From Pen to Pixels – The Digital Age

  • Talk 1: What is Artificial Intelligence (AI)?

    Learn about AI, its capabilities, and its impact on society.

  • Talk 2: What is Truth!

    Understand the concept of a post-truth society and the potential impact of AI and multimedia on our understanding of truth.

  • Talk 3: Biblical Truth

    How to know and proclaim God's truth in a post-truth society.

  • Talk 4: The Cognisant Cog - Where Do I Fit In?

    Understand your role in seeking God's truth and presenting your beliefs.

  Additional Activities

• 11:40 AM: Inspirational Church Service

  • Topic: "Joseph – a man who was educated through life’s experiences and communicated God’s message to the world around him."

• 12:45 PM: Fellowship Lunch
